Hi, my name is Dan. Growing up in Colorado, the Rocky Mountains have always been a place I’ve felt at home in. Most of my childhood was spent on the eastern part of the Colorado Front Range. I grew up around farm animals and grew a passion for snow sports. After graduating college, I went on a road trip to Yellowstone National Park which began a career in Retail and tour guiding. I had never been one to take pictures before working in YNP, but Lauren taught me the importance of freezing captivating and special moments in life. I hope to engage and inspire people to explore, preserve and appreciate the remaining wilderness and all the life and resources in it through these frozen moments.
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am originally from Pensacola, Florida. I moved away from my hometown to study my passion of Psychology at George Washington University in Washington D.C and spent a semester studying abroad at Auckland University in New Zealand. This time away from home inspired an idea: Experience the world to the fullest possible. After this I found myself in Yellowstone National Park as a seasonal worker in 2021 and never looked back. I met my boyfriend Dan here, and we have been trying to explore this wonderful park and world as much as possible. I have found that photos can bring back all sorts of memories of events, people, and things that I might have forgotten. This has led me to using photography as a digital journal to look back on since writing has never been my strong suit. I created this website in order to share our adventures, thoughts, and photos from life as a seasonal worker. I am still learning when it comes to photography and hope this page illustrates that growth. I hope this page will be a place where everyone can see these amazing moments and learn how they can have them as well.
